Martin doesn't quite have the touch to stop Aubrey from crying if she is really on a roll. Times like these prompt Martin to say things like she hates me. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. The kid loves her daddy.

A few days ago we were all in the kitchen and Martin walked out of the room. Aubrey practically did a backflip out of her seat to see where Martin was going.

And Sunday in church, an old woman was trying to get Aubrey's attention but she refused to peel her eyes off Martin.
Woman: Well, I guess she knows who he is.

Conversation

I actually bought that truck twice. Little known fact. I bought it the second time after I sold it to my best friend and then after he put in new brakes and raised it up I bought it back from him for less than I sold it to him for. ....yeah.....he wasn't that smart.

I think I sold everything I ever owned to him. I sold him my truck, three different three-wheelers. And he gave me a sega game system.

Last week they had a family reading night at my school. So (person) shows up by himself. And he doesn't have any kids in school. He was just standing there talking.

Matt: I don't think  I can finish this. It's supposed to be a double quarter pounder but that seems like way more than a quarter pounder.
Martin: (who ate the same meal) Oh come on, I'm eyeing up the rest of her sandwich

Weekend Highlights

The other day I was reading Rachel's Blog which led to here which then led me to discovering this. I thought it was a really fun idea and decided I would try it myself (even if it was a couple of days late). But then apparently ten pictures for ten hours in a row was a little more than I could really commit to.
