Martin Has All The Moves

I recently rediscovered this video after way too long. If you've seen this already - watch it again, you'll be sure to chuckle. If you haven't, then you should definitely watch this immediately. The picture is kind of dark and grainy but its totally worth looking through poor lighting. It's videos like this one that remind my why I married Martin in the first place (not that I need reminding, he's amazing!) But that confidence, you can't just find that anywhere. And those moves! Watch this video and tell me you're not impressed.

Funny Pins

I don't really ever pin anything funny on pinterest. It's not that I don't like funny things, I mean, I married Martin - clearly I love to laugh. But I usually pin food and home decor things that I really like. If you looked at my pinterest pages you would probably think I'm a grandma or something.....SURPRISE! I'm in my twenties!

Anyway, the point I'm getting to here, is a friend of mine, Amanda Flansburg pins some really funny stuff. I'm not sure if she reads this blog or not but if you do, Amanda, Bravo! You really make me laugh. Below are a few funny ones I found on her page, but you should probably just go here and look at them all yourself.

Bottom's Up

Me: I saw a car the other day with a license plate that said bottomsup. I think the driver must have been either a diver or a proctologist.

Chrissy: What??? No, you know, bottom's up - it's a drinking expression - like Bottom's Up! Lift your bottle and drink it!

Me: Ohhhh! Wow! Didn't even think of that one.

Anyway, the entire experience reminded me of the Seinfeld Episode where Kramer gets sent the wrong license plates of a proctologist, ASSMAN

5 People, 1 Guitar

You might have seen this by know, but if you haven't......it's amazing. And the girl in the band has a spectacular voice. And it's five people on one guitar! I honestly like it better than the original version which I've heard countless times on the radio by now.

Of course, Martin discovered this for me and we've watched it approximately 500 times since last Thursday. We also watched their interview on Ellen. I think my favorite part about that interview was the band's explanation for making the recording.

Well, we were all over at Johnny's house and we wanted to make a video. And we only had one guitar.

I'm also going to go ahead and post some of my favorite comments from the youtube link...just because they're really too good for you to miss.

Lovin' Mondays

I have a million things to post about from our amazing vacation and would have been equally amazing if I were not working post-vacation with Ingrid but today I'm sharing a couple cool things I've found on the internet. This is a new series I'm starting (and hopefully sticking to) called Lovin' Mondays because I figure...it's a Monday and being as drab as Mondays usually are, we could all use a little something to love up on.

First off, don't you love this ring??? I'm not usually one for rings (my engagement ring felt really weird to me when I got it and I didn't know if I've ever get used to it) but I love the idea of a wooden ring with some stones. So simple and amazing.

And check out this underwater restaurant in the Maldives. How awesome would it be to eat your lunch while watching hundreds of sea life swim around you? It's definitely made my bucket list!
