Then he told everyone we ran into how we were going to go to Texas Roadhouse where you get to eat peanuts and then throw the shells on the ground! I have to admit. It is sort of insane! In the picture above, Martin is gently setting his shells on the ground. This occurred before he was comfortable enough to toss the shells on the ground and then step on as he was walking by, you know, really grinding them into the floor so they're particular difficult to sweep. Judy had a really difficult time tossing her peanut shells on the ground and was collecting a little pile in her hand. That is until she went to the peanut barrel to grab some more and ended up with half a handful of empty shells. You know those empty shells are from people like you who feel bad throwing them on the floor, but can't find anywhere else to put them so they throw them back in the barrel. After that, Judy got over her fears of making a mess on the floor.
But back to the Farm Show, it's always a fun event because you get a chance to see people you never see otherwise. I ran into a friend from college who I clearly haven't seen nor talked to in a long time because when literally almost ran into her on the way to the bathroom to with Aubrey to get some warm water to feed her and qualm her sudden outburst, her first remark was you had a baby? So yeah, haven't seen her in a while.
But after about four hours at the show, we had been through all the buildings, run into a lot of old friends, changed Aubrey on a feeder, finally caught up with Judy who I don't see nearly enough of now, and my arms were killing me because we had decided to opt out on the stroller and I instead carried Aubrey around the show. So we headed to Texas Roadhouse where the peanuts are a plenty, the bread is delicious
And the margarittas are gigantic. yum!
And we got to hang out with Matt and Judy for longer, which is always a plus.
And Aubrey was a darling angel and slept through the whole meal.
