Happy New Year Everyone!
I thought I would take this opportunity to do a little review of last year, just in case you forgot anything good.
We started the year with a move back to western New York. And from there the year really took off.
Aubrey was obviously a HUGE part of my year and we spent a lot of time celebrating all her various milestones including rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, almost walking, getting baptized, dressing up for halloween and, in general, just being adorable.
I love to travel and had a chance to go on a few great trips this year including Vegas, Katie and Mike's Wedding in Maryland, Alan and Lindsey's Wedding in Vermont and finally, a trip to Chicago (which I have yet to post about)
I am also a big fan of fun days everyday and we had plenty of those too. Wine Tours, Wine Festivals, Sushi Making, Bills Games, Goo Goo Dolls Concert, Game Nights, and Relaxing with Friends, and The Lake.
And, as always, the year was filled with great conversation. Between Martin and I. Among Friends. At Church. With my Second Family, About babies, And regarding Movie Titles

Winter Wine Tour
I've professed my love of wine tours on here many times before, but really what's one more time? I LOVE wine tours. Nothing brings people together like a wine tour. Something about driving around and sipping wine at wineries, (and then if you're really classy like I usually am, chugging it in the car between wineries) really brings people together. I don't think I've ever been on a wine tour where everyone wasn't the best of friends by the end - even if they previously didn't know anyone.
The weekend before Christmas Caton came up with her roommates from Nashville. And because both Paulette and Stacey are super fun we all went on a wine tour on Saturday. And somewhere between our third winery and the bottle of red wine we drank in the car - I started to feel like we were all sisters that had grown up together so when we had to decide which character we were most like from Beauty and the Beast I really had no problem assigning roles to either Stacey or Paulette, regardless of the fact that this was our third time meeting.
And then we took a quick visit to Niagara Falls. And I realize that Caton looks way too excited to not be under the influence, but she wasn't. She was our sober driver. (Even though the more I look at this photo, the more I am starting to question the integrity of the statement).

The Story Game
On Friday night we hosted a game night at our apartment. I really love game nights. One game we always play on game nights is the story game. We played this game at a game night we had over a month ago and I never posted about it and then we played it again on Friday night.
Here's the basic premise: One person goes in another room and everyone else in the room makes up a story. Then the person comes back and they have to try to guess the story by asking yes or no questions. I know it sort of sounds like a wild goose chase, but hearing all the guesses and leading to figuring out the actual story is an insanely fun time.
Here's just a few of the guesses from previous story games.
Martin: Wait, is my brother having sex with my wife????
Martin: Is Caton sleeping with Shane?
Everyone: Yes!
Martin: Isn't that your cousin?? You guys are sick
Martin: When they were done did Alex make Kerri walk home?
Everyone: Yes.
Martin: Oh, man - you're an asshole, Alex.
Jake: So, it's perverted and it involves someone younger than me. Hmm. Well the first thing that comes to mind.....Do I become a priest and molest little boys?
Jake: Does it involve a fetish of mine?
Everyone: Yes!
Amanda: Oh god, Jake. No!
Jake: Does it involve animals?
Martin: You really need to think about the order of your questions.
