One night while Ingrid was in town, we watched 8 Mile. I realized this movie came out a long time ago, but we just watched it for the first time.
It was sooo good.
That Eminem really knows how to whip together lyrics.
It was also ironic that we just watched it in light of the fact that Brittney Murphy is a costar in the movie, and plays a hot mess.
It also ended at the perfect time. It didn't drag on and on and ended just when I thought the movie should end.
Compared to Funny People which we also watched while Ingrid was in town. NOT VERY GOOD. This is not funny and it lasts forever. I think 2 hours and 55 minutes is a little long for a comedy. What happened to the time when comedies lasted for an hour and a half. Those were the good days.
