Competitive

On Friday night we went over to our friends, Matt and Jenny Powell, for a game night. We started out playing Last Word which is basically a game where everyone has a subject card like "Things Found in the Subway" and then there are Letter Cards which are flipped over each round. When a letter card is flipped over, whomever thinks they have a subject that starts with that letter puts their subject card down and starts the round off with their word and by hitting the timer. The last person to say a word matching the subject gets to move ahead one space.

Gabe got really competitive during this game....
Gabe and Jenny: (both shout word at almost same time, Jenny just slightly after Gabe)
*Buzzer goes off*
Gabe: That's me. Move me ahead.
Jenny: No, that's me.
Gabe: Ok, fine. We'll just scratch the whole round.
Katie: Gabe, Jenny isn't even on the board yet. You've almost won.
Gabe: Yeah. We'll just scratch the whole round.

And there were a few rounds where we sort forgot how to play.

Katie: Words with Double Letters - Nipple (presses timer)
Martin: Tittle!
Matt: Pennies!
Martin: Tittle!
Matt Pennies!
Katie: Those don't count. They have to be double letter words that start with N.
Matt: O yeah. I was thinking double Ns.
Martin: Yeah. That's what I was thinking too.
Me: You said tittle. That doesn't even have an N in it. And its not a word.
